In the last few days, her name has been all over the pages of newspapers and the news headlines. Even the social media is agog with the exploits of this graceful and beautiful and courageous woman.
I remember watching her on her program Business His Way on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) when I was a little younger. As I watched her dish out sound and faith based business practices, one of those days, I thought to myself “this is courage”.
Ibukun is a perfect balance of a lady. She is the CEO of her own chain of companies, a member of the board of many organizations ranging from NGOs to companies. It is obvious that she is a Jesus lover yet she has her business where it ought to be, she is an adorable wife I believe and a mother to her children. That’s an excellent lady; don’t you think?
Most recently, another feather was added to her cap. She was named the Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria which will take effect from 2016. This is a major milestone not just for the wonderful Mrs Awosika; it is also a milestone for other budding women entrepreneurs and Africa.
